The Lollapalooza lineup for summer 2025 has been released. This festival occurs at Grant Park in Chicago and hosts over 170 artists. This festival will begin on Jul. 31st and end on Aug. 3rd. Tickets are live now, with many already sold out. Tickets include 1-day, 2-day, full festival, VIP, and other tickets.
This year’s headliners are Tyler, The Creator, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, Korn, Rufus Du Sol, Twice, Sabrina Carpenter, and A$AP Rocky. Other artists include Gracie Abrams, Bleachers, Wallows, Clairo, and so many more.
Every headliner has recently been center-stage for their music, and it’s clear why. Tyler, The Creator continues to dominate the music scene, following the success of his 2024 album “Chromakopia,” which debuted at number one and marked the highest first-week sales of his career. Luke Combs, a country music sensation, is teasing what he calls his best album yet, with fans eagerly awaiting studio versions of unreleased tracks like “Wish Upon a Whiskey” and “Pushin’ Up Daisies.” Olivia Rodrigo has hinted at new music in the works, keeping fans excited for her next big release. Sabrina Carpenter had a majorly successful 2024 album entitled Short n’ Sweet. A$AP Rocky is planning on releasing his first full length album since May 2018. This album has been teased quite a few times, and is likely to be called Don’t Be Dumb.
Lollapalooza has always been a festival for the history books. Viewers and performers alike love the festival and the enticing surprises that come along with it. The 2024 festival featured a knockout performance by famous queer singer Chappell Roan. “Good Luck Babe”, one of her most famous songs, had been released in April. She was still riding the success of that song during the Lollapalooza festival. According to CNN, Roan held Lollapalooza’s biggest set of all time, bringing in a large audience.
The audience was not only large in person as the concert was also being live streamed on Hulu. Fans were able to watch and listen to two channels of live performances during last year’s festival. While it is likely, it’s still unclear as to whether Hulu will livestream this event again.
For attendees, preparation is key to enjoy all four days of the festival. Comfortable footwear is important for navigating the expansive grounds of Grant Park, and weather-appropriate clothing will keep you ready for Chicago’s unpredictable summer conditions. Staying hydrated is essential, so take advantage of the festival’s water refill stations. Heat stroke and dehydration are concerns during long days filled with excitement. Arrive early to secure a good spot for your favorite sets, but also explore smaller stages to discover emerging talent. Planning your schedule ahead of time using the festival app can help you maximize your experience without feeling overwhelmed. Finally, keep cashless payment options handy and consider portable chargers to keep your devices powered throughout the day.
Music, culture, and community will come together in the heart of Chicago this summer. Get ready for an unforgettable festival that will captivate audience members and possibly bring announcements and surprises for fans.
