On Monday evening, the Student Association announced it would begin to implement Marcos Kramer’s proposal to loan out bikes to SUNY Oneonta students. While some details have yet to be ironed out, bikes may be available anywhere in Oneonta as early as the end of this semester, according to the Student Association.
SA launched the 5k plan, which aims to give students “direct say” in how to spend $5,000, back in October.
Kramer’s bike-loan proposal was selected by students as the winner of the 5k plan out of a total 43 submissions. Bikes will be available to loan, free with a valid student ID this summer, according to the Student Association.
