Johnny Martin is a senior studying Music Industry. Martin joined as a DJ at WONY 90.9FM in the fall semester of 2017. He was then elected to the executive board as WONY’s Operations Manager as of the fall 2018. Martin hosts the show “Heeere’s Johnny!”, which airs every Thursday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Martin explains that when he first began hosting his show, he would only play music from the ‘80s, and would also talk about trivia related to the songs, artists, amd music videos that he plays. As of this semester, Martin has changed his show to incorporate music from other decades. He notes that he likes to talk more in depth about the music he plays as well.
