President-elect Donald Trump has begun to select his cabinet members before taking office again early next year. The burgeoning trend with the cabinet picks is they’ve all worked with Trump before or support him. The reaction surrounding the announcement of these members has left citizens concerned, especially when some of these members have scandals following them.

According to The New York Times, Kristi Noem, Trump’s pick for Secretary of Homeland, has angered several Native American tribes Oglala Sioux and Cheyenne River Sioux. These are followed by initial allegations against Neom about cartel involvement and comments she made about Indigenous Americans, resulting in her getting banned from tribal lands.

Another member announced was Linda McMahon for Secretary of Education. McMahon, the former CEO of Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment, is currently caught in a sexual abuse lawsuit after allegations were made about McMahon ignoring the abuse of a young male WWE employee decades ago. This raises concerns as to how well McMahon will keep students safe in schools.

According to USA Today, Trump’s first pick for Attorney General was Matt Gaetz. But from then to now, Gaetz stepped down amid allegations of sexual misconduct. Trump’s second choice for the position is Pam Bondi, who was the first female attorney general in the history of Florida.  However, waves of concerns about Bondi’s character have been brought into question. A few years back, Bondi once spoke on Fox News where she called for prosecutors who were against Trump to be investigated. Shewent as far as calling them horrible people for using Trump’s actions to create a name for themselves.

Some of Trump’s more notable picks include Dr. Oz, known for his TV show that carries his name. Oz was tapped to be the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator operating under the Department of Health and Human Services.

Trump announced Karoline Leavitt as another member of his cabinet. She’ll be filling the position of White House Press Secretary. Leavitt will also be the youngest to ever hold that position in history.

For Trump’s White House Communications Director, Trump decided to name Steven Cheung in the position. However, this announcement has raised alarming concerns following backlash for this decision. Back in 2016, Cheung had a rather guns blazing approach to opponents of Trump. USA Today says he described the opponents as cucks, snowflakes, and saying they suffered from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

According to the New York Post, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy would co-lead a new department in the government called The Department of Government Efficiency. This new department will work with the White House as well as the Office of Management and Budget. A few months ago, Musk became a part of Trump’s inner circle after one of his assassination attempts.

Trump has put together a diverse cabinet with ideal and less than ideal picks which has caused a serious public response in the past few weeks. But starting January, the nation will see how these new members will perform in office.
