It is now week eight of the NFL season and the fantasy football season is getting closer to the playoffs. It is crucial to play the right players to capture a win and get you closer to clinching a playoff spot.

Start ‘Em QB Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers is coming from a bounce-back performance against the Texans that included four touchdown passes and a win. In the previous game, he threw two interceptions against the Buccaneers that led to a blowout loss. This week he faces the Vikings and I expect Rodgers to have a phenomenal performance against a weak secondary. If you own Rodgers, he is a must-start this week.

Start ‘Em RB Kareem Hunt
Since Nick Chubb went down with a knee injury, Hunt has taken the starting role and has done an impressive job so far. Going against the Raiders this week, I expect an impressive performance with heavy usage in the red zone..

Start ‘Em RB Todd Gurley
Gurley had two touchdowns last week against the Lions which resulted in a 22-point performance. This week he is going against the Panthers who have struggled against the run all season. The last time he faced Carolina he rushed for over 100 yards and I expect the same this week .

Start ‘Em WR AJ Green
After struggling for most of the season, Green has finally started to put together back to back positive performances to reward any owners that still are sticking with him. I expect the consistency to continue this week in a high scoring game against Tennessee. I believe he will have a great performance resulting in a touchdown.

Start ‘Em WR AJ Brown
Brown has been exposing opposing cornerbacks since his return to action and I don’t expect it to stop any time soon. Owners should continue to play Brown as this week he will play the Bengals struggling secondary. Another big performance is coming this Sunday.

Start ‘Em TE Hayden Hurst
Tight ends have been hard to find this year, but Hurst is starting to put together some consistency . The Panthers struggled to contain Cook last week and I see the trend continuing next week for 10 plus points.

Sit ‘Em WR Justin Jefferson
In his last game, Jefferson put up impressive numbers against the Falcons in a blowout loss. In his game this week against the Packers I expect him to be quiet as the Packers defense will hold the struggling Vikings in check. He is too risky to start this week.

Sit ‘Em RB James Conner
Conner has done an excellent job in his last two performances rushing the ball and scoring touchdowns. However, this week he takes on a dominate Ravens defense coming from a bye week. I expect the Steelers to do most of their damage through the air, making Conner a risky start.
