Oneonta’s Theatre Department with the Mask and Hammer Theatre Club presents “The Exception and the Rule,” written by Bertolt Brecht, translated by Eric Bentley, and directed by John McCaslin-Doyle. Following the tale of a merchant attempting to cross the desert, this play is very relevant to our times, examining exploitation, class conflict, and the modern legal system.
The production opens on Friday, February 22 at 7:30p.m. in the Hamblin Theater located in SUNY Oneonta’s Fine Arts Center. Following shows will be on February 23 at 7:30p.m., February 24 at 2:00p.m., February 26th at 7:30pm, February 27 at 7:30p.m., and the final show
